Hi delegates!
I am Ray Hsueh, A freshman at Suzhou Singapore International School. It is an absolute honor to be serving as your Deputy President in the General Assembly beginner for SUZMUN XIV. I currently have about 3 years of experience in MUN. I have attended various conferences and have extensive experience, and I hope to bring this to the committee room and to the delegates. I don’t have any doubts that SUZMUN XIV would be another learning chapter for all of us. In this conference, I will be focusing on developing strategies to combat deepfake technology and AI-generated disinformation. I am very positive that the committee has many ideas and innovative resolutions, along with many fruitful debates. A fun fact is that I am a very approachable person, so don’t be afraid to ask me questions! This year’s conference will certainly be another unforgettable experience in our MUN careers. See you all in April! |
Esteemed delegates, directors, student officers, and guests. My name is Harang Liu, I am currently a Junior at Lycée Français de Shanghai (LFS), and it is my absolute honor to serve as your president for the upcoming SUZMUN conference. I will be focusing on the issue of responding to the global housing crisis in urban megacities. The advice I will give to delegates is to step out of their comfort zone and to make speeches and amendments, because confidence is key. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns coming into the SUZMUN conference via email at [email protected]. Looking forward to meeting you all,
Harang Liu, president. |
Hi everyone! My name is Giulio, and I am a sophomore from United World College Changshu China. I have a strong passion for global affairs, geopolitics, and diplomacy. I have participated in several Model United Nations conferences, where I enjoy navigating complex power dynamics and finding solutions.
In this committee, the topic I will be focusing on are the implications of rapid urbanization in South Asia’s megacities on public health and infrastructure. This topic sits at the intersection of development, sustainability, and social equity, raising questions about access to healthcare, informal settlements, transportation systems, and climate resilience. Fun fact: I’m really passionate about photography and love capturing transport (planes trains etc.), sports, animals, and city life, very fitting for this topic! |
