Suzhou is a major city located along the southeastern edge of Jiangsu Province in eastern China. Bordered by the Yangtze River in the north, Shanghai in the east, Zhejiang Province in the south and Lake Taihu in the west, Suzhou is a beautiful city that’s easy to get to and once you’re here its hard to leave.

Suzhou Industrial Park
Established in February 1994 with approval of the State Council and starting operation in May the same year, Suzhou Industrial Park is a major governmental cooperation project between China and Singapore. Covering an area of 278 square kilometers, the Park includes the China-Singapore cooperative area of 80 square kilometers and 5 sub-districts with 1.3 million residents. Twenty-seven years later, having developed into one of the regions featuring the greatest degree of openness, the best development quality, the strongest innovation and vigor and the best business environment, the Park wins itself the nationwide name of an important window for opening up and a successful example of international cooperation. In 2020, the Park made a record high by achieving regional GDP of 290.7 billion yuan, public budget income of 37.73 billion yuan, the total imports and exports value of 94.18 billion US dollars and actual foreign investment implementation of 1.97 billion US dollars. Such performances pocketed 72 top national and provincial-level honors and awards, which can be described as nothing but “the First” and “the Only One”. SIP won the top place in the Comprehensive Assessment of the Overall Development of National Economic and Technological Development Zones for five consecutive years. In the Assessment of National New and High-tech Zones, it rose up in the comprehensive ranking list to the fourth. It has initially acquired the basic structure of a world-class high-tech zone.
